Analyses #

Once an analysis has been created users can select the Dashboard option to see all samples that have been completed or are pending.

The Analyses view can be opened by selecting Dashboard

The Analyses section contains two main areas:

  • Analyses list: A table listing all of the analyses. For each analysis, it displays:
    • Modify Date: The last modification date for this analysis
    • Analysis: The name of the analysis, including its identifier. Clicking on this will take you to the summary information about the analysis.
    • # Samples: The number of samples used in this analysis
    • Subject: The name of the subject
    • View/Analyze Button: For samples that have not been previously analyzed, the user will be prompted with an Analyze button. Clicking on Analyze will take you to the Analysis screen. For samples that have been previously analyzed, the user will be prompted with a View option. Selecting View will take you to the summary page for this analysis. 
  • Summary graph: The graph on the left provides a quick summary for your workflow. This includes the number of analyses that are still pending analysis, or those that have not been assigned.

Users can also use the Search area to search for a specific analysis.

The search option is available in the upper right of the window

VCF Samples #

The VCF Samples section within the Dashboard view contains two main areas:

  • Samples list: A table listing all your samples. For each, it displays:
    • Modify Date: The last modification date for this sample
    • VCF Sample: The name of the sample. Clicking on this will take you to the Sample’s information page.
    • Subject: The name of the subject. Clicking on this will take you to the Subject’s information page.
    • Genome Build: The genome build used to annotate this sample
    • Version Set: The version of the software that was used to annotate the data
    • Status: displays the status of the sample
    • Permissions: Set by the administrator to designate permission options
    • New Analysis: This option will allow a new analysis to be created for the individual VCF file. 
  • Summary graph: The graph on the left provides a quick summary of the status of samples:
    • New: Samples that have been recently added to the analysis
    • In Annotation: Newly added samples that are being annotated
    • Failed: Samples that have failed the annotation step

You can also use the Search option to search for a specific sample.

The Search option is in the upper right corner of the VCF Samples view

Once the samples have been loaded, the user can select Analyze to begin the evaluation of the sample. This will direct the user to the Analysis Screen.
