Dashboard

The Dashboard icon provides the ability to Start New Analysis but also displays the Analyses and VCF Samples interface. The Analyses window provides details into how many analyses are Open, Unassigned, or assigned to a user (My Open). For each analysis that has been created, this dialog will display:

  • MODIFIED: Displays the date of the last modification to the analysis
  • ANALYSIS: Displays the analysis name and designated panel
  • #SAMPLES: How many samples are present in the analysis
  • STATUS: Displays the current state of the analysis
  • ASSIGNMENT: What user the case has been assigned to, if applicable
  • SUBJECT: A unique identifier for the subject. Commonly, this is the patient identifier for EMR or LIMS integration

Selecting the Analyze icon to the right of an analysis will provide the ability to investigate the genetic sequencing variants of the sample. Additionally, the search wizard in the upper right can be used to quickly query specific cases.

Dashboard and Analyses view

Below the Analyses dialog is the VCF Samples interface. This interface provides information regarding the samples that have been uploaded into Geneyx Analysis. The left dialog indicates: how many New samples have been added, samples that are currently in Annotation, and those that have Failed the annotation process. For VCF samples, the following information will be displayed:

  • MODIFIED: Displays the date of the last modification performed on the sample
  • VCF SAMPLE: Name of the VCF sample
  • SUBJECT: A unique identifier for the VCF sample. Commonly, this is the patient identifier for EMR or LIMS integration
  • GENOME BUILD: What reference genome assembly was used
  • VERSION SET: The version of Geneyx Analysis that was used to annotate the data
  • STATUS: Notifies weather the sample has completed the annotation step
  • PERMISSION: Designation of sample accessibility

To perform a different analysis or annotation of a VCF sample that was previously uploaded to the system, select the New Analysis option on the right side. This will start the process of importing the VCF file again.
